We are excited to announce that we will offer acupuncture at our office again starting August 21st! I've included the link to Yamin Chehin's website, which offers a wealth of information on some of what she has to offer.
Having had a session with her myelf, I can attest that she is nothing short of incredible; she is VERY in tune with what is going on with the body!
Once a month she will be facilitating Women's Circles here in the office (more information about this on her website). The first one will be Saturday, Sept 23; there is no cost, but space will be limited so please let me know soon if you're interested in joining us!
Here is Yamin's bio, from her website https://healingcycles.net/ :
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I received my BA in Social Communication from University of Buenos Aires in 1992 and traveled around South and Central America for 2 years studying how different cultures express their beliefs not only through specific movement patterns but also in the way they frame what we call reality in the way of story telling.
In the pursuit of understanding the question Is real real ?, I explored different philosophical and spiritual traditions that range from the descriptions shared by the Seers/Shamans of Ancient Mexico to Taoist and Buddhist teachings. For the past years now I have been following and practicing Mindfulness in the tradition of Zen Buddhist Teacher Thich Nhat Hanh
The study of Taoism through the I Ching (Book of Changes) eventually lead me to a more formal study of the patterns of energy flow along the human body meridians described by Chinese Medicine.
I am a Licensed Acupuncturist, a National Diplomat in Acupuncture and Chinese herbology and a Senior Instructor in the 8 Treasures Chi Kung. I use this knowledge, coupled with my intuition and your wisdom, to partner up with you in the creation of a safe space for us to understand and meet with your own healing potential. My training in The Way of Council also helps me understand the story that your wise body tells each time we enter the Healing room.
I am passionate about animals, especially wolves and dolphins. I enjoy communing with Mother Nature and listening to her wise voice spoken through animals, plants, minerals and humans.
She will be available at our office Monday, Aug 21; Tuesday, Aug 22; Wednesday, Aug 23. She is at her other practice in LA on Thursdays and Fridays, but will be relocating full-time to San Diego at the end of September.
Please call the office to schedule your fist visit with her!
